Denise Lewis Christopher is a native of New Orleans, La., but currently resides in Northern Virginia. She was born the eleventh of twelve children to Charles and Rose Lewis. She began her public speaking career 30 years ago, while in college at Loyola University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her focus has always been to inspire and uplift others. Her approach to inspiring others is fresh, authentic and relative. The sizes of her audiences have ranged from small and intimate (10-12 people) to large (1000 plus people). She's spoken in prisons, in corporate offices, in religious settings and at special events.  To name a few, she's spoken at events at The Sallie Mae Foundation, The Rolls Royce Corporation, United Way, The Freddie Mac Foundation and the Northern Virginia Family Services Annual Gala event which was well attended by both private and corporate supporters. She has the ability to draw her audiences in while making them feel free to laugh, cry, think and explore; explore their own hearts and souls.  

Much of what Denise shares are the life lessons she's learned from her own experiences with the transitions and challenges that life presents. She candidly talks to her audience about the many issues of life that transcend race, and economic and social status. 
 
Denise’s motto is Living In Full Expectation of God’s faithfulness, hence the name, L.I.F.E. talk Communications, the ministry venue she established in 2006, to reach others through her writing and speaking. She believes that there is no past failure, challenge, or even past successes that can take away the expectation that there is still much to live for and to look forward to. She is married and is the mother of two beautiful children.
